Artist, Illustrator, Writer, Inventor
I love art. I love science. I love engineering. I love creating. But what I love even more is getting kids excited about these things, too.
I grew up enjoying math, science, art, and building things. I could never choose between art and science, and so far I haven't. I have degrees in painting and in physics from Cornell University, and a masters degree in computer science from Yale University. My love of storytelling led me to work for the Walt Disney Company for almost a decade, as an Imagineer, Experience Designer, and managing a Research and Development lab creating innovative consumer products for families and kids. I have since dedicated my time to helping kids get excited about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) through writing and illustrating picture books, digital, and educational content. I think our future is tied to science and technology, and there is absolutely no reason why learning these subjects shouldn't be fun and exciting for everyone!
